I HAVE FOUND THE LOVE THAT PARDONS

Think about it! We all have done at least one or two ugly stuff (don't even deny it)...some of us still do some ugly stuff, but somehow we get away with them. the interesting thing about this is that some of these things we do are done in our closets - behind closed doors (I mean, when no one is watching).
There were days where I had to go the extra mile to achieve a goal...by all means - crooked or straight
I have been really pissed off at some point in my life, I have been subjected to several forms of emotional judo - pychological, physical, and the ones associated with materials
At times, I wonder why i should let things go, JUST LIKE THAT! It's okay to flick out in rage, pour out your heart and express your displeasure towards someone, but it's better to let it end that way

Try inserting ur tiny finger thru the tip of a plastic bottle, then ur thumb...ok...are they in? Alright, push them in gently...deeper...deeper...alright, stop before someone gets hurt. It's difficult, right? Of course, it should be. that's how difficult it is to forgive people who hurt you; people who use you; people who persecute and abuse you.

Sometimes you wish you could just stick a gun up their heads and pull the trigger until you totally dispense every bullet in it. Trust me! someone else is thinking of doing the same to you.

My music director taught me a song over 7years ago...the lyrics stuck in my head since then.

It reads:-
I HAVE FOUND THE LOVE THAT PARDONS
I HAVE FOUND SOME STRIPES THAT HEAL
I HAVE FOUND STRENGTH FOR MY WEAKNESS
I'VE FOUND GRACE TO COVER MY SINS

I remembered this song before typing this note. All I kept hearing afterwards was: I love inspite of all you've done. I still care for you. I have never held anything against you...I won't! if only you say the same to that guy that hurt you...to that girl that took all you had and left you with nothing...that uncle or aunty that abused you, and stole away that thing which you treasured the most - that which defined you...

HIS love for you and I has healed us; It has made us new and whole again; It has given us a second chance...how well are we making use of this invaluable privilege?

Let's show how much we love Him; how much we appreciate Him; how much we acknowledge this LOVE...and to what extent we are willing to extend this LOVE to others.

to err is Human (very Human), but to forgive is divine...Selah!
